This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling meetings, court dates, and deadlines Organize and maintain physical and electronic legal files Answer and direct phone calls; manage email correspondence File legal documents with courts and government agencies (electronically and physically) Prepare and process billing, invoices, and expense reports Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and other third parties Perform legal research and summarize findings when required Assist with trial preparation, including assembling exhibits and materials
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in a legal setting Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Familiarity with legal terminology and document formatting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities High level of discretion and professionalism Ability to work independently and as part of a team EEO/AA Employer/Vet/Disabled.
