Our firm is growing, and we are looking for a dedicated Legal Assistant to join our team and support our attorneys in delivering excellent legal service. Job Summary As a Legal Assistant at The Mambo Law Firm, you will play a key role in supporting our attorneys with all phases of personal injury case management. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and capable of handling a fast-paced workload. This position requires regular communication with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and court staff. Key Responsibilities Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files Prepare and file legal documents such as demands, discovery, motions, and correspondence Request and manage medical records, bills, and other supporting documentation Track case deadlines and maintain attorneys’ calendars Coordinate depositions, mediations, medical appointments, and court appearances Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information Assist attorneys in trial preparation as needed Perform general office duties including answering phones, data entry, and document scanning Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred 1-3 years of experience as a legal assistant in personal injury or litigation Strong understanding of South Carolina legal procedures and terminology Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management systems (e.g., Clio, Filevine, Sharefile etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off, holidays, and sick leave 401(k) with employer contribution Opportunities for professional growth and development
