Known for their collaborative and fast-paced environment, their Columbia Insurance Defense team is growing and seeking a motivated legal professional to join their ranks. They are looking for you , an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal with excellent problem-solving and scheduling skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships with fellow legal professionals. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a team that values dedication, organization, and strategic thinking.
What you get to do:
- Schedule depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings Issue subpoenas and manage case calendars Review and analyze medical records, draft chronologies, and organize files Prepare discovery requests and responses Communicate with clients, experts, and insurance adjusters Handle trial prep and maintain detailed documentation for 100+ active cases Serve as a scheduling lead
- anticipate conflicts, collaborate with opposing counsel/paralegals, and resolve issues effectively What you need to succeed:
