They are looking for you, an experienced Litigation Paralegal who is highly skilled and experienced. The role will support attorneys, including seasoned shareholders who specialize in Business Litigation. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of litigation, particularly in business insurance law.
What you get to do:
Support attorneys with case preparation for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing and managing all related materials.
Draft, file, and serve legal documents including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
Conduct legal research and compile relevant case information by analyzing statutes, case law, and legal publications.
Maintain comprehensive case files, both electronic and physical, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Coordinate the discovery process, including document collection, production, and evidence review.
Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel, providing case updates and managing communications.
Assist with trial preparation tasks such as compiling exhibits, creating witness lists, and handling logistical arrangements.
Monitor and track critical deadlines to ensure adherence to court requirements and procedural rules.
What you need to succeed:
Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Paralegal certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience.
Solid understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and litigation workflows.
Strong research, writing, and analytical capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal practice management software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
