Full-Time We are a recruiting and staffing agency assisting a respected law firm with an immediate opening for a Paralegal in their Charleston office. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to support a nationally recognized litigation team focused on complex, high-stakes cases across multiple industries.
Skills & Qualifications:
Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution (required) Bachelor’s Degree (strongly preferred) 2+ years of experience in general litigation or toxic tort (preferred) Familiarity with all stages of litigation Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat/Adobe DC Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a litigation team Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, excellent communication and writing skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to case management. Experience in toxic tort litigation is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses Manage multiple cases from initiation through trial Collect and organize legal documents and medical records Summarize depositions, discovery pleadings, and medical records Conduct document reviews, legal research, and factual investigations Prepare discovery production documents and maintain case files Why This Role?
