Tri Star Cares Summary:

The Paralegal will support the VP, Legal & General Counsel by researching law, investigating facts, preparing legal documents, and coordinating a wide range of real estate and administrative tasks. This is a high-visibility position that plays a key role in supporting both ongoing legal operations and strategic real estate initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

Real Estate Functions:

Review and update property site details via LeaseQuery Draft and manage lease agreements, amendments, and correspondence with landlords and tenants Organize and maintain site-specific records for agreements, surveys, and plans Coordinate real estate closings and contract due diligence periods Track real estate interests, inquiries, sales, and subleases Collaborate with Accounting, Facilities, Operations, and other departments on property-related data gathering

Administrative Functions:

Manage the Legal department calendar and travel arrangements Prepare correspondence, arrange conference calls, and process invoices and expense reports Serve as a liaison for incoming questions related to rent, utilities, and legal expenses Maintain confidentiality of company, client, and employee information

Required Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Law, Accounting, or a related field Paralegal Certification 4+ years of corporate paralegal experience Experience in commercial real estate, leasing, or convenience/retail industries Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience supporting legal functions in C-Stores or multi-unit retail operations Understanding of corporate law requirements and real estate lifecycle
