Certified Paralegal Position Available In Hamilton, Tennessee

Certified Paralegal Partners Personnel Chattanooga, TN 37408 Partners Professional Group is currently assisting our client searching for a Certified Paralegal with experience in Family Law. This position will be located in Chattanooga, onsite daily from 8:00- 5:00 and being offered as a contract to hire. Experience working in a professional law office and understanding the legal processes associated with being a paralegal is required. Communication skills verbally, written and in person that out exceptional is mandatory along with polished, professional presentation. Responsibilities Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings by organizing case files and documents. Conduct legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to gather relevant information for cases. Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests while ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards. Manage case files using document management systems and maintain up-to-date records for all ongoing cases. Interview clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases. Proofread legal documents for clarity, grammar, and adherence to formatting guidelines. Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy and provide support during litigation processes. Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may affect ongoing cases. Experience Previous experience working in a law office is required Familiarity with Family Law is strongly preferred Understanding case management software is a plus. Strong interviewing skills with the ability to extract relevant information from clients effectively. Proficiency in document management systems to streamline case organization. Excellent proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
