Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Legal Assistant or Paralegal with experience in Estate Planning and Estate Administration. This individual will play an integral role in supporting our Estate planning attorney through all phases of estate matters and must be highly organized, proactive, and client-service oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with preparation and filing of estate planning documents and probate filings Conduct client intake and manage follow-up communications Schedule meetings, manage attorney calendars, and track deadlines Organize and maintain case files both physically and electronically Draft correspondence and assist with document review Provide excellent service to clients with professionalism and empathy Follow established firm procedures and meet case management standards
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in estate planning and/or estate administration preferred Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.) Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to take initiative, listen effectively, and follow directions Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfortable communicating with clients in person and over the phone Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision
