JOB SUMMARY
Our Closers handle in-office closings. S/He is responsible for preparing for and overseeing the closing and execution of closing/lender packages, deeds, settlement statements, and all other closing related documents. This position engages with all members of the team and public relations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
include but are not limited to: Review of closing documents prior to closings Final review of title commitment and settlement statement Prepare closing file for closings, ensuring all lender closing instructions are followed Perform closings in office Coordinate split closings Notifies correct party to release outgoing wires when disbursement is appropriate, including submitting funding requirements to lender when necessary May be asked to collaborate with Escrow Officer and/or Escrow Assistant to make sure any checks received in conjunction with a closing are deposited and receipted the same day received Keeps detailed record of activities within processing software Conducts self in a manner of professional integrity (e.g., with regard to self, clients, team members, direct supervisors, and local businesses) Adheres to company policies and guidelines Maintains knowledge of industry, regulatory changes, jurisdictional changes, etc. Represents company at appropriate local, state, and national events Maintains relationships with existing clients Develops relationships with new clients Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE
One (1) – Two (2) years of relevant experience is required.
EDUCATION
High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, INSURANCE
Notary Certificate preferred
