Our client, a dynamic and growing law firm, isseeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to jointheir team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understandingof paralegal duties and have a minimum of three years of experienceworking within a law firm environment, with a strong preference forexperience in Trusts and Estates.
Responsibilities:
Assistattorneys with all phases of trust and estate administration,including probate filings, inventorying assets, preparingaccountings, and distributing assets. Draft and prepare variouslegal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney,healthcare directives, and probate pleadings. Conduct legalresearch and gather information pertinent to trust and estatematters. Maintain and organize client files, ensuring alldocumentation is accurate and up-to-date. Communicate effectivelywith clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and courtpersonnel. Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, andcoordinate meetings. Handle administrative tasks such as billing,time entry, and general office support. Assist with estate planningdocument preparation and execution. Perform other paralegal dutiesas assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or ParalegalCertificate from an ABA-approved program. Minimum of 3 years ofexperience as a Paralegal in a law firm setting. Demonstratedexperience in Trusts and Estates is highly preferred. Proficiencyin legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,Outlook). Exceptional organizational skills and meticulousattention to detail. Strong written and verbal communicationskills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in afast-paced environment. Discretion and ability to handleconfidential information with professionalism. Proactive andresourceful with a strong work ethic.
