Required skills for the Security/Parking assistant: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and staff Minimum of two (2) years in secretarial/administrative support role required. Must possess a driver’s license and be insurable by DSI standards. Strong organizational and time management skills to manage parking operations efficiently Attention to detail to accurately monitor parking violations and records Ability to work both independently and as a team Duties in this position include, but not limited to: Parking management: Attend construction meetings that impact parking. Ability to anticipate parking issues and find solutions before issues occur Coordinate technicians for repairs and upkeep of parking facilities Oversee maintenance of parking infrastructure Administrative tasks: Responding to all emails, phone calls, etc. on the same business day. Respond to inquiries and complaints within a reasonable timeframe Must have excellent communication and organizational skills Managing parking permits Must maintain accurate records of parking transactions and violations Have a working knowledge of microsoft office products & ability to use simple math to generate reports of revenue, expenses and number of parking spaces. Manage all parking databases Customer service: Assisting customers with parking inquiries and accessibility needs Resolving parking related disputes Must maintain professional communications at all times Event coordination: Planning and managing parking arrangements for special events Coordinating with event organizers to ensure efficient parking flow
