Job Description
Prevention Navigator 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars 5960 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32207 1. Conducts substance abuse/dependency and related-issues classes within the Duval County Jail system. 2. Completes substance abuse/dependency screenings for potential admissions into the Corrections Therapeutic Community. 3. Provides referral information as needed. 4. Provides program/services information as requested. 5. Prepares class materials as required. 6. Complies with all confidentiality regulations and policies. 7. Maintains a good working relationship with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office employees, Public Defenders, State Attorneys, the Judiciary, & other criminal justice services providers. 8. Work effectively in an atmosphere of dignity and respect for clients and co-workers. 9. Participate in weekly staff meetings-case staffing. 10. Must work effectively in an atmosphere of dignity and respect for clients and co-workers. 11. Participate in CRC internal training programs. 12. Participate in CRC Quality Improvement Program. 13. Other duties as assigned.
