About the Position
This position requires a seasoned level professional who will be involved in the compilation and computation of parole information on inmates. The role will research, gather, prepare, and organize inmate information and prepare case summaries for the Parole Board so eligible inmates can be considered for parole in a timely manner. The work includes confirming parole eligibility on offenders, interpreting court and other documentation regarding offender’s case history, and preparing documentation required for parole hearings. Must be meticulous with details, be able to maintain strict confidentiality, have strong communication skills, possess excellent customer service skills, and have the ability to work well in a team environment.
What you’ll need to be Successful
Must be able to abide by the MS State Personnel Board and MDOC rules, regulations, and procedures governing the agency and operate in accordance with state and federal laws. Exercise a high degree of sound decision making and effective communication skills, and ensure the safety, security, and order of the facility.
