About the Position Journey level professional work involving the compilation and computation of parole information on inmates. The incumbent reviews pertinent inmate information and prepares synopsis for the Parole Board so eligible inmates can be considered for parole in a timely manner. The work includes reviewing and collecting files and data, participating in classification decisions, providing information on inmates to authorized persons, and completing Risk Matrix information on inmates. What you’ll need to be Successful Successful candidates must have excellent communication skills, the ability to accurately maintain records, detail oriented, and maintain strict confidentiality. Must be able to abide by the MS State Personnel Board and MDOC rules, regulations and procedures governing the agency and operate in accordance with state and federal laws.
