Position Title Regulatory Affairs Program Manager Location Hicksville, NY 11801

Job Summary Pay Range:

200- 220K The Regulatory Affairs Program Manager is responsible for a multitude of multi-year projects and programs leading mandatory and strategic regulatory change supporting multiple lines of business. Supports the achievement of regulatory goals including the development and management of comprehensive project plans to remediate and enhance the Bank’s programs. Provide day-to-day oversight and execution of project plans to achieve compliance with the regulatory requirements. Works closely with Regulatory Affairs Managers to ensure business unit account remediation projects meet regulatory expectations, have effective project plans, and provide regular reporting to Bank executives and the Board. The individual serves as the senior bank supervision and regulatory expert on staff. The position reports to the Executive Director of Regulatory Affairs.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage remediation projects during all phases of the supervisory process. Develop supervisory examination support program to enhance business unit awareness and understanding of the supervisory process. Serve as a dedicated regulatory project management expert and advisor providing guidance and recommending strategies for regulatory response. Develop and maintain comprehensive action plans containing complete descriptions and timeframes for completing any regulatory corrective actions. Act as a centralized point of contact managing the responses to the regulatory issues and project plans. Oversee regulatory processes including the project management lifecycle, remediation and clearance of examination findings and ad hoc regulatory requests. Work closely with Regulatory Affairs Analyst and business unit subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure remediation efforts are well planned and effectively executed. Provide review and comments on regulatory submissions to ensure proper alignment with supervisory expectations. Ensure regulatory project issues and risks are identified, quantified, and managed. Monitor the correction of regulatory deficiencies. Assist Regulatory Affairs management regulatory change management functions to ensure the bank is managing effectively changing regulatory landscape. Clearly communicate expectations internally and externally in responding to regulatory requests.

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Perform special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. Adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:

Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent), Advanced degree preferred.

Certifications/Qualifications:

PMP and Commissioned Bank Examiner preferred.

Minimum experience required:

10+ Years of banking risk management and bank regulatory experience with focus on project management working on regulatory matters and remediation.

Job Competencies:

Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements for banks exceeding the $100 billion asset threshold. Proven program and project management capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving regulatory compliance initiatives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate regulatory requirements and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business operations. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance regulatory requirements with business objectives and risk considerations. Formal project management training, certification desired. Expert knowledge of bank supervision and examination process. Physical demands (ADA): No unusual physical exertion is involved.
