Position:

The Regional Safety Manager reports to the Director of Safety (Non-DOT) and is responsible for helping to facilitate ongoing safety training initiatives for frontline employees, location managers, and Senior Leaders in their respective regions. This is a high-demand role, with daily interaction between frontline valets, cashiers, managers, Human Resources and Risk Departments. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Regional Safety Manager supports the programs and initiatives originating from our Home Office and helps to support the individual needs of our operational teams throughout the assigned region.

Work Location:

This is a Hybrid position between working from home and being out in operations within the Northeast (NY/NJ, MA, CT).

Responsibilities:

Regional On-Site (Travel) Weekly site visits to conduct risk audits (about ~5 a week, minimum of 20 a month). Location safety walks to identify risks for client or operations team. Lift Training 1-2 times a month on-site at specific locations. Conducting and overseeing on-site training initiatives for front line employees and Operations leaders. Conducting in-person and/or virtual Safety Orientations (annually and/or as needed). Task force assignments as needed. Administrative (Work from home) Research regional claims statistics and identify items that need to be reviewed. Schedule, conduct, and assign take-aways on a weekly call with operations leadership. Risk Audit (from site visits) – reporting and follow up (failing or high risk items found). Join National Safety Team meeting(s) – 2-3 times a week. Oversee seasonal initiatives and associated reporting – Winter of Safety. Create, plan, and roll out. Host weekly calls. Manage all reporting. Provide reports for regional leadership as needed. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements Travel:

Must be willing to travel within assigned region(s) (NY/NJ, MA, CT) as necessary. 2-3 days a week in operations, conducting site visits and training(s). Possibly 3-4 trips a year for National Safety Team initiatives (outside of regional market). Travel and mileage will be expensed.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

3-5 years Parking Industry experience with emphasis on claims and loss prevention. Working knowledge of industry standards and operational demands. Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift, push and pull at least 15 pounds. Ability to walk up and down stairs and/or ramps. Ability to walk for extended periods of time (5+ miles a day).
