Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Safety Manager with a strong background in electrical systems to lead and support our safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E standards, and the NEC, ensuring a safe working environment with a specific focus on electrical safety. This role is critical to maintaining compliance and fostering a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Develops, implements, and oversees company-wide safety programs, procedures, and policies with an emphasis on electrical safety. Conducts regular audits and inspections of electrical systems and practices to identify hazards and ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations. Leads incident investigations, prepares reports, and implements corrective actions. Provides training and mentorship to employees on electrical safety, lockout/tagout procedures, PPE usage, and safe work practices. Serves as a technical resource for electrical safety-related questions and risk assessments. Collaborates with project teams to assess potential hazards in design and implementation phases. Maintains safety records, logs, and reports in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements. Stays up to date with changes in safety regulations, codes, and industry trends related to electrical systems and general workplace safety. Prepares and arranges safety exhibits and material for display, promotional work, and employee education.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science or related field; or any combination of education and experience may be substituted for a degree. 5 years of safety management experience in commercial, industrial or construction environments. Prior hands-on experience as an electrician required. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification. Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer with a valid OSHA 500 or 502 Trainer’s card is a plus.
Capabilities:

Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and educate all levels within the organization. Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficient in MS Office products to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and OneDrive.
Other:
This is an on-site position based at the company’s main office in Middleburg, FL, and requires regular travel to job sites, with up to 25% of travel expected.
