Health Services Manager 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Tampa, FL 33612 Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Clinic Operations & Oversight Lead and oversee Team Member Health Services, encompassing both Occupational Health and Team Member Medical functions. Responsible for hiring, scheduling, performance management, and staff development. Financial Management Manage and ensure compliance with financial budgets related to Team Member Health Services. Collaborate with the Director of Benefits & Wellness to develop and maintain annual budgetary requirements. Regulatory Compliance Direct the Occupational Health team in designing and executing programs that comply with all federal and state health regulations, including OSHA and Joint Commission standards. Oversee and track compliance efforts across the organization, including: Annual Influenza Vaccination Compliance TB Testing Hearing and Vision Screening & Protection Blood and Body Fluid Exposure Reporting & Tracking Annual Respirator FIT Testing OSHA Investigations and Reporting Partner with Nursing Administration to implement Safe Patient Handling protocols and equipment adoption. Workers’ Compensation Oversee Occupational Health responsibilities related to Workers’ Compensation, including: Coordination with vendors for after-hours on-the-job injury care Administration of post-accident drug testing procedures Triage and care for work-related injuries through in-house clinics during business hours Participate in regular claims reviews with HR leadership and legal counsel. Committee Participation Serve on strategically designated organizational committees (e.g., Environment of Care Committee) and provide updates and insights to both standing and ad hoc groups as required. Reporting & Analysis Collaborate with the Director of Benefits & Wellness, IT, and the medical plan administrator to establish systems for tracking clinic services and value. Analyze claims and service data to support HR strategic planning. Take necessary steps to establish and maintain provider status for the Team Member Medical Clinic with the claims carrier. New Hire Onboarding Ensure Occupational Health meets Strategic Workforce Management’s new hire health screening standards through efficient resource management. Policy Development Develop and maintain up-to-date Employee Health policies in a timely and consistent manner. Cross-functional Collaboration Foster collaboration between Team Member Medical Clinic and Occupational Health teams. Promote shared resources and professional knowledge across both areas to maximize operational efficiency.
