Responsibilities:

Excellent planning and coordination skills
Team leader qualities and outstandingmunication skills
Dedication to customer service and attention to detail
Solution seeker personality and effective decision maker
Focus on employee observations, coaching, and retraining. Reinforce DO&CO, and customer policies and procedures while conducting business in the field or in the building(s).
First responder to accidents and injuries. Be the DO&CO representative who will collect necessary information to conduct thorough investigations. Report findings to management.
Ability to oversee, recognize need and update operational responsibilities as necessary.
Support within the operation
Act as a liaison between departments.
Operational coverage in the event of call out or vacation requests.
Training (new and reoccurring)
Be willing to conduct training courses (new hire and reoccurring) and be the SME for all DO&CO safety procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of work experience in related field/Preferably as Ramp Safety Officer
Requirements necessary to obtain airport ID
Proficientputer skills (Particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Flexibility (different shifts – night, weekends, holidays)
Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
Excellent planning and coordination skills
Dedication and attention to detail with regards to customer service
Solution seeker and effective decision maker
Hands-on in order to make sure all flights are successfully dispatched on time
Ability to manage quickly to ovee any deficiencies in the transportation department
