Primary Responsibilities Supervises Regional Safety Managers.

Strategically partners with location and regional leadership inimplementation of company safety program. Conducts frequent jobsitevisits, analyzing work practices to determine safe and efficientmethods of performing work. Determines corrective or preventativemeans and methods were identified and follows up to ensure theyhave been implemented. Documents information in relevant reportsand analyzes data to make process recommendations. Ensures allsafety policies and procedures comply with local, state, andfederal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rulesand regulations. Responsible for the investigation and defense ofOSHA citations Completes and files Notice of Contest and representsthe company in all safety and health inspections conducted by OSHA.Oversees the Region’s delivery of training programs for managers,supervisors and field employees when required and assists in thedevelopment of training programs as needed. Assists local officeand field leadership as needed in identifying potential safetyissues affecting overall safety performance for an assignedoperating unit or company. Oversees a Region’s injury and claimsmanagement process as needed, included but not limited to,developing injury, illness treatment protocol, and OSHArecordkeeping management. Performs special projects and completesall other duties as assigned or requested for the general supportof the organization. This position reports directly to the companyDirector of EHS. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree inOccupational Safety and Health or a related degree and 10 years ofrelative experience or 12 years of equivalent combination ofeducation and/or experience. Familiarity with construction safetywork rules contained in Supervisor Safety Manuals as well as OSHAPart 1910 and 1926 regulations. Understanding of state WorkersCompensation laws and reporting requirements.
