WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Case Manager Supervisor is an exempt position responsible for supervision and oversight of Case Managers.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

Provide employee and case related supervision to each team member at frequency required by state law, Funder requirements, and program policy Provide modeling, training, and development of professional skills to program employees Ensure responsibilities of team members are completed as required

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Leadership team with the administrative oversight, quality control, performance and fiscal management Track, manage, and delivery of reports related to contractual performance and legal documentation required Maintain working knowledge of community resources to assist staff in coordination of services for children and families Maintain ongoing communication with all parties as required Participate in on-call rotation in accordance with agency policy and program procedure Maintain client confidentiality according to established policies and federal and state statutes by obtaining needed releases of information Perform all other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

: Bachelor’s degree in social work or related area of study from an accredited college or university and at least four (4) years of experience in social work or related human services field or Master’s Degree and two (2) years of experience in social work or related human services field Related areas of study are: Criminology, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Special Education, Education, Human Development, Child Development, Family Development, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Nursing. Must possess Child Welfare Certification issued by Florida Certification Board Ability to use verbal de-escalation skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Demonstrate leadership Knowledge of child development preferred Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds Ability to work in high stress situations Ability to work with individuals that exhibit physically and/or verbally aggressive behaviors As a requirement of this position, may be required to use personal car to transport clients. Must have a valid drivers’ license with auto insurance coverage.
