Safety Officer Duties:

• Prepare safety documents (HSE Plan, Risk Assessment, JSA, Permit to Work, Equipment Inspection)
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability
• Conduct safety meetings and trainings to educate employees on safe work practices
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and conducting trainings
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
