Our Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) teamis leading on wide-ranging initiatives to make Primient an industryleader in all aspects of EHS – from switching away from coal powerto providing a psychologically safe working environment. TheCorporate Health & Safety Manager provides enterprise-wideguidance, expertise, and strategic direction to support local plantinitiatives and ensure a strong, standardized health and safetyculture across all Primient manufacturing sites. This individualwill work closely with plant leadership, site safety teams, andcorporate stakeholders to drive compliance, risk reduction, andcontinuous improvement in workplace health and safety programs.

While local site teams are responsible for daily execution ofsafety initiatives, this role will serve as a key resource andadvisor, ensuring plants have access to best practices, regulatoryguidance, and enterprise-wide safety strategies. Reporting to theChief Operating Officer, this position plays a vital role infostering a safe, compliant, and proactive safety culture acrossall Primient operations. The Corporate Health & Safety Managerprovides enterprise-wide guidance, expertise, and strategicdirection to support local plant initiatives and ensure a strong,standardized health and safety culture across all Primientmanufacturing sites. This individual will work closely with plantleadership, site safety teams, and corporate stakeholders to drivecompliance, risk reduction, and continuous improvement in workplacehealth and safety programs. While local site teams are responsiblefor daily execution of safety initiatives, this role will serve asa key resource and advisor, ensuring plants have access to bestpractices, regulatory guidance, and enterprise-wide safetystrategies. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this positionplays a vital role in fostering a safe, compliant, and proactivesafety culture across all Primient operations.

Keyresponsibilities:
Corporate Health & Safety Manager Enterprise-WideHealth & Safety Leadership & Support:

Serve as a resource andmentor to site safety teams, assisting them in implementing andimproving their health and safety programs. Act as a strategicpartner to plant leadership, providing guidance, training, andexpertise to support local safety initiatives. Facilitate bestpractice sharing across all manufacturing locations to driveconsistency and operational excellence in safety performance.

Regulatory Compliance & Auditing Support:

Work with plant teams toensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations,providing guidance on OSHA, PSM, and environmental healthstandards. Support internal and external auditing efforts, helpingsites identify compliance gaps and develop and implement correctiveactions. Stay informed on regulatory updates and industry bestpractices, proactively communicating changes and requirements tolocal sites. Develop and implement corporate-wide health & safetystandards, ensuring alignment with OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, and

ISO45001

regulations.

Incident Investigation & Risk Reduction:

Leadcorporate-wide reviews on incident investigation reports out forbest practice sharing and ensuring required layers of protectionare communicated effectively across all Primient plants.

SafetyTraining & Culture Building:

Develop and implement corporate-leveltraining programs to supplement plant-led safety training efforts.

Provide resources for new employee safety orientation, refreshertraining, and leadership development in safety management. Supportsite teams in fostering a proactive, engaged safety culture,ensuring employees take ownership of safety at all levels. Leadefforts to standardize safety policies, procedures, and reportingframeworks across all sites. Foster a culture of proactive hazardidentification and risk reduction, ensuring employees across alllocations are engaged in safety initiatives.

Performance Monitoring& Reporting:

Track and analyze enterprise-wide safety performancemetrics (KPIs), ensuring leadership visibility into trends andopportunities for improvement. Take the lead role in reporting EHSmetrics to all stakeholders, including KPS, executive leadership,and plant management, on a monthly basis. Utilize EHS digital tools(e.g., Gensuite, SAP) to support local teams in trackingcompliance, incidents, and safety performance.

EmergencyPreparedness & Crisis Support:

Assist plant teams in developing,testing, and refining emergency response plans, ensuring alignmentwith corporate standards. Provide enterprise-wide resources andtraining materials for crisis management and emergency responseplanning. Work with external agencies and emergency responders toensure sites are prepared for fire, chemical, and natural disasterscenarios. Provide expert guidance and tools to local sites forincident investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and correctiveactions. Assist plant teams in developing risk mitigationstrategies, including job hazard analysis (JHA), ergonomicsassessments, and exposure reduction programs. Offer support forworkers’ compensation case management, ensuring proper reportingand injury response practices.

About You Experience &Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & Safety,Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. 10 years ofexperience in health and safety leadership, preferably inmanufacturing, food processing, or chemical industries. Expertisein OSHA regulations, PSM, machine safety, ergonomics, andindustrial hygiene. Experience with EHS digital tools (e.g.,Gensuite, SAP, Intelex) for tracking compliance and reporting.

Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven safetydecision-making and reporting to executive leadership. Ability toinfluence and collaborate across multiple locations, balancingcorporate guidance with local site needs.

Certifications preferred:

Certified Safety Professional (CSP), ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, OSHA30/General Industry, or equivalent.

20-40% travel toPrimient’s manufacturing plants, corporate offices, and potentialpartner sites. Occasional travel for regulatory compliancemeetings, industry safety conferences, and training events. TotalRewards The annual pay range estimated for this position is$120,551.20 – $150,689.00 and is bonus eligible. Please note thatwhile this range reflects the full spectrum of compensationavailable for this role, individual compensation will be determinedbased on several factors including your experience, skills, andalignment with the role’s responsibilities.
