The Safety Analyst plays a key role in supporting the organization’s risk management and safety programs, ensuring compliance with company regulatory requirements, and Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) concerns and CAPA’s. This position is responsible for monitoring workplace safety initiatives, analyzing loss trends, and coordinating safety compliance efforts to mitigate risks and enhance employee well-being. Additionally, the Analyst oversees loss control initiatives, safety related development and training, maintains critical documentation related to insurance, safety, and regulatory compliance and serves as support for workers’ compensation, auto, and property claims. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve workplace safety and claims management processes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety & Compliance Management Supports the corporate safety program by overseeing OSHA and safety-related training, facility assessments, and fire/disaster drills. Conducts annual safety audits, including fire drill monitoring and employee MVR reviews. Maintains Certificates of Insurance, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) on shared drives. Ensures accurate tracking and reporting of safety-related employee health issues and facility concerns. Manages and distributes loss control inspection reports, ensuring proper follow-up on deficiencies. Supports facility safety inspections and related training as needed. Claims Management & Risk Mitigation Manage property claims for assigned locations. Serves as a backup for workers’ compensation claims administration. Assists with tracking, training, and database management related to OSHA, safety, and claims. Corporate Safety Meetings & Compliance Reporting Schedules, plans, and documents Corporate Safety Committee Meetings, including preparing meeting minutes and action plans. Develops and oversees corrective action plans for safety-related initiatives. Maintains and distributes Certificates of Insurance, ensuring timely updates and processing requests for new or modified certificates. Assists in establishing and maintaining an Employee MVR monitoring system. Prepares quarterly SHE audit progress reports for compliance committee. Additional Duties Collaborates with key stakeholders to improve safety programs and claims management efficiency. Performs other risk management and safety-related duties as assigned. Travel as necessary to conduct training, facility assessments and other company functions as deemed necessary to support the Safety and Risk Management department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Four-year college degree in Human Resources or related field 2-5 years related experience preferred Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation, OSHA compliance, and risk management best practices. Experience managing insurance claims, safety programs, and compliance reporting. Proficiency in Workday, Microsoft 365, RMIS, or other risk management systems. Ability to analyze claims data and develop meaningful reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with HR, operations, and legal teams. Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record in accordance with company driving requirements.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to perform tasks requiring sustained physical activity, such as sitting, standing, walking, or repetitive hand movements. Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and other peripherals. Ability to lift and carry items within a reasonable weight range, if necessary. Regular use of technology and exposure to prolonged periods of screen time.
