SUMMARY:

Leuze USA is adding to our team! We are seeking a hybrid Machine Safety Solutions Project Manager, located in the Atlanta area. Manage all projects for the Safety Solutions group including proposals, parts ordering, scheduling, customer interaction, and customer satisfaction. This includes Risk Assessment and Consulting projects, Engineered Solutions projects, Machine Safety Training, Stop Time Measurement services, etc. This also includes management of on-site installation and implementation supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage all aspects of each project which will include the following task: Work with the consulting and engineering team to estimate and create proposals Manage parts ordering and costs associated with each project Manage project kickoff meetings and scheduling Manage on-site scheduling for on-site work Manage deliverables scheduling and delivery Manage and track resource utilization Manage and track customer satisfaction Manage subcontractors who may be used for project implementation. Potential for on-site supervision and assistance as needed to complete projects. Meet deadlines, commitments, specifications, and guidelines to ensure accountability internally and to customers. Support all Sales Resources as a technical expert to achieve all revenue and Safety Solution goals.

COMPETENCIES

Project Management experience including Project Management tools and processes. Knowledge of Machine Safety Standards

  • ISO-13849
  • ISO-12100
  • ANSI B11
  • Etc and the Machinery Safety Lifecycle CMSE® (Certified Machinery Safety Expert) certification or Functional Safety Certifications (TUV or similar) a definite plus.

Microsoft proficiency with MS Office tools. Particularly Excel Understanding of the Machinery Risk Assessment process. Experience conducting Machinery Safety Risk Assessments is a definite plus. Understanding and / or experience with Risk Assessment software tools like Raswin, SISTEMA, etc a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with

SAP / CRM. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree or higher depending on experience

  • Electrical Engineering 5-10 Years’ Experience
  • Automation / Design / Machine Safety specifically.

Travel up to 50% required Ability to stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

WORKPLACE EXPECTATIONS

This is hybrid position, based out of Atlanta, GA. Up to 50% travel, and expected to work in the Duluth office when 2
