The FSQA Supervisor is responsible for overseeing food safety and quality assurance processes within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies, aiming to maintain the highest levels of product quality and safety throughout the production cycle. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the FSQA team to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
Implement and maintain HACCP, GMP, and SQF programs to ensure product safety and quality.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
Develop and maintain documentation related to food safety and quality assurance processes.
Lead training programs to educate staff on food safety practices and quality standards.
Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality and safety issues in a timely manner.
Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure regulatory compliance with USDA, FDA, and BRC standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards, including HACCP, GMP, and SQF.
Experience with documentation and regulatory compliance practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Effective communication and training skills.
