Job Description

Drive a culture of safety and environmental stewardship by leading EHS initiatives, improving processes, mentoring teams, ensuring compliance, managing risks, and fostering collaboration to achieve an incident-free workplace and operational excellence.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, implement, and drive accountability for EHS initiatives, aligning with corporate policies, improving processes, and fostering an incident-free workplace. Establish a visible presence to mentor teams, monitor safety practices, oversee EHS staff, and develop talent while promoting a culture of safety excellence. Manage incidents, conduct investigations, ensure compliance with audits and regulations, and implement strategies to mitigate unsafe conditions and behaviors. Analyze safety and environmental data, track KPIs, and report trends to address risks, ensure compliance, reduce violations, and enhance overall safety and environmental performance. Work with HR, finance, and senior management to align training, audits, and risk management strategies while maintaining robust communication and strong relationships across departments.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Advanced Regulatory Knowledge of of EPA, OSHA, state regulatory requirements, and industry standards, including

ISO 9001, ISO

14001, and

OHSAS 18001.

Subject matter expertise in all aspects of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management, including compliance, risk mitigation, and program development. Advanced knowledge and training in behavior-based safety programs, lean manufacturing principles, 6S, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for engaging with employees, management, and external stakeholders at all levels. Strong capability to design, deliver, and evaluate impactful training programs for diverse organizational levels.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree required 3-5 years EHS leadership experience in similar environment
