POSITION DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
Assists the corporate HSE director in planning, directing and implementing the Company’s HSE program to ensure a safe, healthy and accident-free work environment. Ensures company, client and governmental regulatory compliance in all areas related to HSE.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Standards Assist HSE Director in development and implementation of comprehensive safety program, policies, and ini Assist HSEDirector in periodically reviewing the effectiveness of the HSE Program to identify defici Seek input from Company Personnel and subcontractors in the development and/or revision of safety policies and procedures. Direct HSE resources to assist operations in achieving established expectations and goals. Assist managers and supervisors with worksite safety Pursue new HSE initiatives and Assist HSE Director in establishing minimum PPE requirements for all Inc i dents Record and classify all Assist managers and supervisors with incident investigations, review investigation findings for lessons learned, and communicate lessons learned to the affected groups. Follow-up to ensure corrective actions identified during incident investigations are implemented Establish and track performance metrics using a combination of lagging and leading indicators to provide the Company with information necessary to measure progress towards established goals. Regulatory Interface with environmental regulatory agencies and audit project site compliance with environmental protection requirements as needed. Compile and submit all reports required by regulatory agencies Accompany all safety, health, insurance, and/or regulatory inspectors or auditors on walk through tours and follows-up on any recommendations, corrective measures, citations, Training Train managers and supervisors in safety responsibilities and safe Identify training requirements and provide the necessary resources to complete Develop and communicate procedures to document completed Other duties Manage the collection and storage of applicable safety data Represent the organization in community or industry safety groups and programs with HSE Director’s approval. Lead the company scheduled Supervisory Safety Conversations in coordination with other key members of the management Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in occupational safety/health degree or equivalent combinations of training and experience A minimum of 3 years of construction and/or industrial safety experience with demonstrated progressive levels of leadership Proficient leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Thorough understanding of and ability to teach and enforce all federal, state, local, and company regulations. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic Ability to train, supervise and educate Ability to travel as required which may include out-of-town tra Certifications, Licenses, Registrations Current driver’s license, OSHA 30 and/or

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is often exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places.
