Key Responsibilities Lead and manage company-wide safety programs and a team of safety professionals. Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other regulatory standards. Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and oversee incident investigations. Develop and deliver safety training programs and new hire orientations. Promote a culture of safety through employee engagement and recognition. Monitor construction site safety (aerial, underground, trenching, heavy equipment). Coordinate with project teams to integrate safety into planning and execution. Manage safety documentation, regulatory reporting, and compliance audits. Administer the Drug & Alcohol Program, CDL compliance, and third-party safety systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred). 7-10 years of construction safety experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. OSHA 30 or 500 required; CSP, CUSP, or CHST preferred. Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926, DOT/FMCSA, NESC, and ANSI standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with safety software and reporting tools. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
