Safety Director Position Available In Worcester, Massachusetts

Safety Director LSE Staffing Shrewsbury, MA 01545 Our client in the construction industry is looking to bring on a Safety Director. This is a direct hire opportunity. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. Lead training development efforts to educate employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Analyze incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Manage workers’ compensation claims and ensure compliance with workers’ compensation laws. Prepare detailed reports on safety performance metrics, incidents, and compliance audits for management review. Collaborate with various departments to foster a culture of safety throughout the organization. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in regulations related to environmental health and safety (EHS). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in a safety management role with a strong understanding of

OSHA, EPA

regulations, and EHS standards. Demonstrated ability in training development and delivery related to workplace safety. Construction is experience is preferred. Strong skills in root cause analysis and incident investigation methodologies. Proficiency in report writing with the ability to communicate complex information clearly. Certification in First Aid/CPR is preferred; additional certifications related to workplace safety are a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. In this role you would receive a company CC and a company vehicle. You will have 2-3 reports.
