Safety Manager Job Description Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and well-being of construction site personnel? We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join our team. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety programs and policies. If you have a strong background in commercial projects, and are proficient in OSHA safety standards, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
Safety Leadership:

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and policies for the construction site.

Proactive Audits:

Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards.

Training & Education:

Provide safety training and education to all site personnel, including subcontractors and the labor force.

Incident Management:

Investigate and report on any accidents, incidents, or near-misses, and implement corrective actions.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation and records.

Collaborative Integration:

Work with the Project Manager and Superintendent to integrate safety measures into project plans and schedules.

Safety Culture:

Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement on the construction site.

Essential Skills:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management with experience on commercial projects, preferably government work Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices Certification in OSHA safety standards Proficiency in safety management software and tools Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field OSHA 30 and

OSHA 500

certifications Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
