Pet Insurance What You’ll Do:

Conduct OSHA compliance audits and investigations as required
Provide training in Safety related programs to in-house staff and drivers
Review DOT Compliance files for drivers attending orientation
Counsel drivers when necessary to assure Safety, regulatory and corporate compliance
Monitor facility and corporate compliance with mandated drug programs
Coordinate annual Driver’s Driving Championship competition
Monitor, with Service Center Manager, on site security services
Conduct certification training, and oversee Road Test examiner program
Conduct Log and Hazardous Materials training in orientation and trainer programs
Follow-up on motorist complaints. Develop corrective action plans
Respond to on-site accident investigations when required
Serve as Safety Department representative at Service Center meetings
Oversee compliance with corporate passenger and pet authorization program
Serve on rotation basis as On-call Safety Supervisor for after-hours issues
Coordinate issuance of Safety Awards for eligible drivers
Review inspections and citations submitted to drivers and forward to corporate office
Work with drivers and staff when Safety issues need addressed
Conduct classes in “Ethics and Techniques” Safety training program
Monitor progress of drivers and staff who have been assigned additional training
Maintain proper attendance and punctuality to ensure that the department is operated in an efficient and cost-effective manner

What We’re Looking For:

Education Any combination of education and/or experience equivalent to a two-year degree Experience 4 years in Safety or Management related position Skills/Certifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word programs Work Environment / Physical Requirements – Normal office settings.
