Develop and implement training and programs for drivers – ensure all instructional materials are appropriate and relay recommendations for change to the VP, Safety & Recruiting Responsible for delivering driver training and development in compliance with Company, Federal, and State regulations, assessing and coaching drivers of articulated vehicles, both in the truck and in a simulator environment, maintaining accurate records of all training, and fostering and encouraging a learning environment. Responsible for developing and implementing new programs for the Safety Department. Manages remote training program; Supervises remote training staff; Serves as a liaison with area training centers for the recruitment of Military, Under-21, and Driver Apprentice Candidates; Execute daily tasks associated with the event recorder program.

What We’re Looking For:

Education Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent years of experience Experience 2-3 years of experience in the Transportation industry preferred Skills/Certifications Knowledge of DOT Regulations required Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Certified to teach Defensive Driving course and DOT compliance courses or have the ability to become certified Work Environment / Physical Requirements – Normal office settings.
