Responsibilities:
Job Summary Prepares, updates, edits and analyzes plans, policies, andprocedures for all possible hazards in the areas of preparedness,response, recovery, mitigation, evaluation and improvement. Coordinates training for Safety and Emergency Preparednessprojects and systems. Coordinates Safety/Security department related committees. Designs data collection forms and prepares reports fordepartmental programs and activities. Assist the Safety/Security Department in daily functions of theEnvironment of Care. Performs other duties as assigned. Take over Safety responsibility in the absence of the Director.
Qualifications:
Education Bachelor degree preferred or 2 years ofdirect Safety and Emergency Preparedness experience. Knowledge ofJoint Commission, CMS, NIMS and Incident Command. A workingknowledge of Microsoft Office package and the ability to utilizeelectronic tablets during inspections. Experience Two years ofexperience in Safety or Emergency Management. Healthcarepreferred.
