EH&S Supervisor, Here’s What You’ll Do:
The EHS Supervisor will oversee and coordinate all environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) activities at to ensure compliance and achieve EH&S objectives. This role involves implementing necessary tools and processes to enhance workplace safety, equipment management, and personnel well-being. Additionally, the EHS Supervisor is responsible for facility compliance reporting and conducting employee training on workplace safety, hazardous waste management, and other occupational and environmental topics.
Role and Responsibilities:
Assume a leadership role in continuing to develop and promote a positive EH&S culture by maintaining a consistent, respectful presence directly and throughout team and local leadership.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with site leadership to provide guidance and support for EH&S initiatives.
Lead the implementation of site safety and environmental programs for all levels of the facilities and conduct audits.
Oversee EH&S compliance programs, monitor performance, and ensure accurate internal and external reporting.
Drive reductions in safety incidents. Utilize existing systems and programs to identify safety trends and establish corrective actions to permanently reduce facility incidents.
Communicate site-specific EH&S plans and updates to the manager and site leader prior to action.
In partnership with operations leadership, ensure that all facility employees receive required EH&S trainingPerform regular facility inspections to ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulationsSupport investigations and recommend actions to address non-conformance, including incident reporting and other safety-related areas.
Control and communicate documents pertinent to the safety policy to all affected personnel.
Monitors compliance across the facility and works with the Operations Manager to ensure EH&S program requirements are met.
Fully understand the policies and procedures for OSHA and standards. Maintains related tracking logs.
Responsible for new hire safety training.
Adhere to the Company’s Environmental Compliance Program including both internal and external stakeholders.
Assist team activities associated with EH&S program/policy implementation.
Assist with interactions and reporting to various State and Federal Agencies including direct legal response(s) to associated EPA, OSHA, etc., actions directed at repair locations.
Here’s What it Will Take to be Successful in this
Role:
High School Diploma. Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three (3) years’ experience in a related field.

Physical DemandsWork assignments involve standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing, crawling, and crouching in strained and awkward positions for prolonged periods of time at various heights up to 20 feet. Uses hands, legs, and arms to climb vertical ladders to staging or suspended platforms. Lifts, carries, and sets up equipment and components that weigh up to 50 lbs. Employees must be medically certified to wear a respirator, as well as be able to wear respirators for prolonged periods of time.
Working ConditionsWork will be performed outdoors and indoors in all types of weather, on and around heavy equipment. The employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. May be required to work overtime and/or varied shifts to meet the demands of the business.
