Construction Quality Control Manager – Safety Manager Position Available In Craven, North Carolina

Construction Quality Control Manager – Safety Manager Imperial Construction & Electric Cherry Point, NC 28533 We are actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Quality Control Manager (CQCM) who can also function as a Safety Manager for our ongoing and upcoming USACE (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers) projects. This dual-role position is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of construction quality, safety, and compliance while also driving successful project execution from start to closeout. This is a critical leadership role for a detail-oriented professional who understands federal construction standards and has proven success in quality control and team management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Quality Control (CQCM Duties) Implement and manage the Three-Phase Quality Control System required by USACE. Maintain and update the Quality Control Plan, submittals, deficiency logs, and inspection reports. Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections with subcontractors and field personnel. Ensure all construction activities comply with contract specifications, and applicable regulations. Conduct weekly QC meetings and interface with government quality assurance representatives. Work with entire project team Ensure safety on the jobsite

Required Qualifications:

Certified USACE Quality Control Manager (or ability to obtain prior to project mobilization). Proven experience with Three-Phase QC System and

compliance. Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and methods. Proficient in MS Office, RMS/QCS, and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and capable of passing federal background checks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Prior experience managing VA, DOD, GSA, or other federal agency projects. OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, or SWPPP certifications.
