Safety Excellence Certification, Worker’sCompensation, On-site clinic, and Wellness initiatives andprograms. This role oversees training and organizationaldevelopment related to these disciplines.

Highlights of your role:

Ideate, develop, and lead site-specific Environmental, Health &Safety programs and ensure adherence to enterprise policies,programs, and procedures, at a minimum Be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all applicablefederal, state, and local safety and health regulations Collaborate with Enterprise Environmental, Health & Safety onleading safety and health initiatives Ensure enterprise policies and programs regarding safety arecompliant at a site level and administered regarding federal,state, and local regulations and company requirements. Develop and update rules, regulations and operating proceduresminimizing exposures to identified safety hazards and risks Participate in cross-facility Environmental, Health & Safetyaudits to ensure maximum performance and adherence to policy andprocedure consistently across the enterprise Develop and execute, in coordination with other leaders, astrategic annual goal setting plan for eliminating injuries andaccidents through proactive risk identification and mitigation Monitor, analyze and report Environmental, Health & Safety datafor trends and areas of concern Act as primary lead on obtaining or maintaining

Starcompliance Keep abreast of Safety legislative/regulatory changes that mayinfluence business functions Champion the establishment of effective investigations, rootcause analyses, and corrective actions designed to improve Safetyand drive to a culture predicated on injury prevention Lead the local Environmental, Health & Safety team includingmaking hiring decisions, developing, and training team members,maintain a staffing ratio that is consistent with enterprisemodel Manage OSHA, VPP, and employee health and wellness, as well asother training needs and improvement programs Provide oversight for onsite medical clinic and first responderteam Participate in pilot programs for enterprise safetyinitiatives Provides mentorship and peer leadership among EHS teammembers Participate in annual professional development in addition tothe required education/training expectations for this position Understand environmental standards including NAAQS, NESHAP, CFCRegulations, GHG, NPDES, SPCC, EPCRA regulations to determinefacility applicability and implement requirements to meetregulations Represent and serve as the lead person pertaining to any AgencyInspections (Federal, State, Local) and internal audits Monitor environmental compliance situations and implement,conduct, or direct corrective action as needed to stay incompliance, or to regain compliant status

Compensation:

$118,500

  • $145,000 annually You’re a good fit if you have (or if you can): Subject matter expertise in OSHA standards related tomanufacturing Strong working knowledge of other government/professionalorganizations such as Voluntary Protection Program (VPP), NIOSH,NRC, ASSP NFPA, the National Safety Council Ability to analyze and provide solutions from Marvin safetydata sources (e.

g., incident collection software, audit software,etc.) Excellent communication and computer skills (MicrosoftOffice) Strong verbal presentation and facilitation skills Aptitude for technology Ability to influence stakeholders Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships withemployees, leadership, and regulatory personnel Understanding of Worker’s Compensation and Return to Workprocess Understanding of Environmental programs and requirements Understanding of FM Global property insurance requirements Ability to travel ( Ability to frequently stand and walk around facility Experience and/or working knowledge of EPA, State, Local, OSHA,and DOT regulations, programs, and policies Demonstrated ability to balance environmental compliance andservices and business needs for continued success Also want to makesure you have: Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience may be considered in place ofdegree. 10+ years’ experience in safety related role(s) with increasinglevels of responsibility At least 5+ years of management experience Experience in Environmental, Health & Safety leadership rolesin a manufacturing environment preferred OSHA Voluntary Protection Program experience preferred Currently hold or willingness to obtain additional education,safety certifications, and designations required.
