Responsible for the conduct of ATP flight tests, additional type rings, and Flight Engineer (F/E) certificion; PIC, SIC, and F/E proficiency tests; SIC and F/E initial qualificion tests, and Line Oriented Flight Training (LOFT) Evalues training programs to ensure they meet the requirements of the FARs. Approves or disapproves these training programs including flight simulors, training devices, or other such equipment used in these programs.
