Responsibilities + Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures. + Conduct safety training for employees and contractors. + Conduct regular safety audits and inspections. + Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards on job sites. + Document and investigate incidents and accidents. + Ensure that all safety equipment is properly maintained and used correctly. + Work closely with superintendents, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of the project. Essential Skills + Safety management + OSHA 30 certification + Utility construction + Sitework + Site development + Land development + Excavation + Grading + Civil construction Additional Skills & Qualifications + 4+ years of experience in a safety management role in a construction or general contracting environment + Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and best practices + Excellent communication and leadership skills + Strong attention to detail and documentation abilities + Ability to work well in a team environment + Bi-lingual English/Spanish is preferred Work Environment The position is on-site and involves working closely with superintendents, project managers, and other stakeholders. The work environment includes construction sites where safety equipment must be properly maintained and used. We offer a truck and gas card for personnel, and the company is a growing civil contractor. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 – $90000.00/yr.
