The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations, experience in construction environments, and a proactive approach to risk mitigation. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.•

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage site-specific Health & Safety Plans (HASP) Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations Ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local safety regulations Deliver safety orientation and ongoing training to all workers and subcontractors Maintain and submit safety documentation, reports, and logs Lead toolbox talks and job hazard analysis (JHA) meetings Coordinate emergency response drills and first aid procedures Work closely with project teams to plan safe work operations Recommend corrective actions and follow up to ensure compliance Foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of safety experience in the construction industry Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field preferred OSHA 30 certification required (OSHA 500/510 a plus) First Aid/CPR certified Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, equipment, and job site hazards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient with Microsoft Office and safety management software Ability to work across multiple job sites and adapt to changing conditions
