We offer shared services to our group of companies that operate in the manufacturing, construction, and field service industries to assist with their finance, IT, and HR needs. We are seeking a Corporate Safety Director to join our dynamic team, where you will lead our safety initiatives and ensure the well-being of our workforce. In this pivotal role, you will drive the development and implementation of safety policies, foster a culture of safety awareness, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and mitigate risks. Your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding our employees and enhancing our organizational safety standards. Job Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are promptly executed. Lead and manage the corporate safety team to develop effective safety training programs for employees at all levels. Analyze incident reports, injury data, and other metrics to identify trends and recommend proactive measures to prevent future occurrences. Collaborate with other departments to integrate safety standards into operational processes and projects. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and manage all safety-related reporting and documentation. Establish and maintain a company-wide safety culture through effective communication and engagement strategies. Develop and manage the safety budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to enhance workplace safety. Coordinate emergency response planning and conduct drills to ensure preparedness for potential incidents. Provide leadership and expert advice on safety-related matters to executive management and other stakeholders. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in safety management or a similar role. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and other safety-related laws and standards. Proven track record in developing and implementing effective safety programs. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in safety management software and tools. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses. Experience in emergency response planning and incident investigation. Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
