The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, implementing risk management strategies, and fostering a culture of safety among all employees. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of OSHA standards, EHS practices, and construction management. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections on construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety practices into construction management software for effective monitoring and reporting. Provide training and resources to employees on safety procedures, risk management, and workers’ compensation processes. Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NEC standards and ensure compliance across all projects. Build strong relationships with regulatory agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to promote a safe working environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in safety management within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EHS standards, risk management principles, and compliance management practices. Familiarity with construction site operations and the ability to navigate construction management software effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and influence employees at all levels. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for identifying risks and implementing effective solutions. Certification in Safety Management (e.g., CSP or CIH) is a plus.
