A Territory Safety Lead is responsible for supervising the safety of all active project sites within a designated BURG to ensure compliance and drive performance. This individual is integrated with the Operations teams from the planning phase through project execution to completion. This role is focused on proactively mitigating risks, influencing behaviors, training personnel in accordance with the company’s Safety Program, and driving accountability through site observations and safety audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Validates site specific safety plans to ensure safety and risk prevention measures are accounted for and provides feedback accordingly. Executes site observations with the Operations team leaders for all active projects each month and provides feedback accordingly. Collaborates with the Operations team leaders to develop action plans with specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely parameters. Conducts and records all safety trainings for the BURG and proactively identifies any re-training needs based on co-worker competency or project safety performance.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook Must have excellent organizational and communication skills. 2+ years of experience in project field execution for a large-scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor is preferred. Seeking someone with experience on a variety of project types including structural concrete. Knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars. Degree in a Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work or military experience.
