Safety & Compliance Manager Lyndhurst, NJ Up to $80,000/year | Full-Time | Onsite A transportation and rigging company is hiring a Safety & Compliance Manager to oversee fleet safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management. This position supports daily operations across trucking, warehouse, and rigging crews. What You ll Do Maintain compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations Manage driver files, HOS logs, and drug/alcohol testing programs Conduct vehicle inspections and safety audits Lead safety meetings, incident reviews, and documentation Oversee training and safety protocols for drivers and warehouse staff Prepare for and support external audits and insurance reviews Track and report safety data, accidents, and claims Update records related to IFTA, ELDs, maintenance, and compliance What You Need 3-5 years of experience in transportation safety, DOT compliance, or related field Familiarity with trucking operations, ELD systems, and safety reporting Ability to manage documentation, audit readiness, and training Comfortable working in both office and operational environments Knowledge of industry regulations and daily safety practices Apply today to join a company where your experience in safety and compliance can make a direct impact.
