is searching for a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager. This position is located in Trenton, NJ. This position reports to the Regional HSE Director. truck equipment throughout North and Latin America. The Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager will assist management in compliance with safety regulations in an effort to prevent injuries and illnesses to employees in the workplace; inspect the facility and minimize or eliminate hazards from processes, incorrect working methods and materials; comply with NJDOL requirements with respect to OSHA and Workers Compensation guidelines; ensure that the company complies with environmental regulations in the areas of air quality, waste management, clean water and pollution. The job entails a mix of scientific and administration work, along with knowledge of environmental legislation. Your Responsibilities Conduct safety audits of the following: fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, fire suppression equipment, compressed gas, battery changing equipment, ladders, outside grounds, environmental compliance, chains and slings, fall protection, first aid and AED. Conduct safety training in the areas of new hire and temporary orientation, as well as other safety/environmental related topics as needed. Establishes and ensures that local management, employees, and site committees are adhering to corporate standards, actively communicating to all plant personnel regarding HSE related issues and help develop the appropriate corrective action plans. Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required and reports them into Regional HSE. Provides support to management teams, employees, and plant committees in order to ensure a safe work environment. Your Qualifications Minimum education level is a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, most likely Environmental, Occupational Safety or Industrial Engineering. Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in an industrial manufacturing environment working in Environmental Health and Safety Specific

OSHA, NJDEP

(EPA) and general NJ Department of Labor knowledge is required in this position. Ability to thoroughly investigate circumstances surrounding accidents / injuries, document findings factually. Must be able to conduct training for individuals or groups.

$95,000
