Job Description
Serves as the lead for Nursing performance, safety, and quality improvement activities, providing oversight to a team of Performance, Safety, & Improvement Coordinators. This role provides supervisory-level leadership in guiding team efforts, ensuring data integrity, aligning project work with organizational priorities, and supporting adherence to regulatory standards. Functions as the primary liaison for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives within Nursing and Patient Care Services. Requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Nursing. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey. Minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in quality improvement, patient safety, or performance measurement, preferably in an acute care setting. Demonstrated experience with data governance, clinical analytics, or project coordination in a healthcare environment. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources to inform decision-making. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide and mentor peers without formal authority.
