Certified Food Safety Manager Position Available In Kings, New York

Certified Food Safety Manager Food Manufacturer Brooklyn, NY 11208 A fast-paced food manufacturing facility is seeking a results-driven FSQA Manager to lead its Quality Assurance and Food Safety operations. This role will oversee the QA/QC team and ensure compliance with FDA, HACCP, SQF, and internal standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills and experience managing food safety programs in a production environment.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN CHEMISTRY AND OVERSEEING A LAB.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance initiatives across production lines Oversee environmental monitoring, hold programs, lab functions, and consumer complaints Manage and support internal and external audits (e.g., SQF, FSMA) Investigate discrepancies or complaints; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) Collaborate with cross-functional teams and train production staff in QA protocols Maintain and document food safety systems, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or related field 3+ years of managerial QA/QC experience in a food manufacturing setting HACCP, PCQI, and SQF Practitioner certifications required Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, and

ISO 9001/13485

standards Demonstrated leadership in managing QA teams and ensuring audit readiness Proficient with QA tools and capable of interpreting blueprints, specs, and data
