Responsible for overseeing all safety requirements for the assigned electrical contractor for the work site. Responsible for enforcing compliance with safety and health standards and reviewing health and safety guidelines to minimize injuries, providing a great benefit to the safety of the workers on the site. The selected candidate must maintain a productive relationship with the GC’s Safety Manager and other safety professionals on the site. Uphold and represent OSEA’s high standards of professionalism and competency. Responsible for regular and frequent site audits and prompt reporting of findings. Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office. Must have at least 5 years of site safety / construction safety experience. Must possess a recent OSHA 30-hour card (if not within the last three years Turner’s 2-year Safety Update Training has been completed and is up to date through Turner University); and Must have an academic degree in safety, CSP, ASP, or CHST designation, OR has a minimum of three (3) years of prior work history as a designated construction safety manager.
