Transportation Safety & Security Supervisor 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars Aliquippa, PA 15001 Beaver County Transit Authority, has an opening for a Safety & Security Supervisor at our Expressway Travel Center in Aliquippa, PA. As the county’s public transportation provider, BCTA provides fixed route and demand response services to the residents of the county, commuter service into downtown Pittsburgh, and also administers the Medical Assistance Transportation Program for Beaver County, PA. This position is responsible for producing results through effective process development and safety programs. This is a hands-on position implementing programs and procedures in compliance with Local, State and Federal regulations. Job Duties to include, but not limited, to; Safety orientations for all new hires, including classroom and behind the wheel training Responds to vehicular collisions and occupational injuries, conducts investigations and completes accident and injury reports as required. Makes determinations regarding root cause, fault and retraining as well as makes recommendations to mitigate future losses Schedules and coordinates all in-service safety meetings and safety committee meetings Ensures compliance with all Local, State and Federal standards and regulations Creating safety policies, procedures and training materials ensuring implementation and adherence Observes, evaluates and documents driving behaviors, road operations and vehicular footage for safety violations Full time benefit package including PTO, 6 paid Holidays, free LTD and Life Ins after 6 months and SEP-IRA eligible after 3 years.
