Sustainability Director The company is a privately held contract manufacturing firm of composite material to the industrial, electronics, aerospace, and defense industries. Financially stable with a strong growth trajectory that can offer a good work-life balance for the right professional. This is an on-site position in the Augusta, GA area and will report to the CEO.
A qualified candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management and environmental sustainability in manufacturing.
Experience with Title V Air Emissions permits and compliance reporting.
Preferred experience overseeing an onsite wastewater treatment facility.
Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or sustainability (e.g., LEED, ISO 14001) preferred.
Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
Proficient in safety management software, sustainability reporting tools, and MS Office.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety codes.
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
